Bet Your Brain hits Poland

Engel Licensing has entered into an agreement with KFK Trade who will publish Bet Your Brain in Poland in autumn 2009.

Bet Your Brain was launched in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland in November 2008. In the first seven weeks, sales figures beat expectations in all territories and Engel has already expanded the range with the launch of a family edition.

Danish company, Engel Licensing, is the owner of all rights worldwide and presented the board game at the Nürnberg Toy Fair 2009.

Managing director of KFK Trade, Gerard Kupczyk, said: “The Polish market for board games is getting stronger. Our company has a strong profile in the children’s market for games and puzzles, and we have decided to establish a product line for family- and adult games.

"We expect that Bet Your Brain will be one of the top selling games in that category and we are looking forward to be a part of the brand worldwide.”

Managing director of Engel, Claus Michael Drastrup, added: “We are very proud that we after only a few months of market presence in four countries have established a beginning of an international venture.

"We have learned that there is a growing market in Poland for family- and adult board games and we are happy that KFK Trade will bring the first version to the Polish customers already in 2009.”
