Michele Pearce joins BKN

Michele Pearce, former senior UK and international licensing manager at Jetix Consumer Products, has joined BKN New Media as vice president of licensing and merchandising.

Pearce will coordinate worldwide L&M activities with her counterpart, Jesus Diaz, who recently joined the firm in Spain from BRB.

As well as Dork Hunters from Outer Space - currently achieving strong ratings on Jetix UK - Pearce will also be licensing new property Stone Age, as well as continuing the roll out of Zorro Generation Z into 2010 with new animation.

BKN is due to announce a new property launch for spring 2011 at Mipcom Jr in October. The concept will be in 2D and 3D, all in HD and with a production budget of E14 million.
