Time called on Jetix in UK

Channel to be rebranded as Disney XD later this year.

The Jetix channel in the UK will be no more from later on this year, with Walt Disney Company revealing it will be rebranded to Disney XD.

The Disney XD brand already exists in the US and France. It targets six to 14 year-olds boys primarily, but is also 'girl inclusive'.

The Jetix brand is expected to be phased out across all of EMEA by the end of the year.
