ECB partners with Royal Mint

CPLG Sport has unveiled what it is calling a 'historic' new partnership between the England and Wales Cricket Board and the Royal Mint, which will produce commemorative medals based on the nPower Ashes Series 2009.

Available to buy from this month and bearing the series logo, the medals have been developed by experts at the Royal Mint and are made of base metal.

In addition, 150 limited edition gold coins (RRP £1,600) are being produced to commemorate the series, five of which will be used for the coin toss before each of the five tests.

These will then be auctioned for charity later in the year.
