STATIONERY MARKET FOCUS: Rainbow Designs

Rainbow Designs is looking to further expand its presence in the stationery sector later this year, with a number of new lines planned for some of its key brands.

The firm - which boasts such properties as Paddington Bear, Miffy, The World of Beatrix Potter, The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Snoopy in its portfolio - is currently enjoying success with its Bobbypin notebook collection.

Featuring the illustrations of Jeffrey Fulvimari, the notebooks are available in four designs each featuring gold foil detail, printed pages and in two formats, flip or chunky.

Later on this year, Rainbow Designs is introducing a selection of stationery products including pens, pencils and phone charms for several of its other brands.

It is also looking to tap into the back to school market with products available for Paddington Bear Classic, Vintage Paddington Bear, Beatrix Potter Classics, Miffy Classic, Snoopy Original Since 1950 and Wallace & Gromit collections.
