Nelvana reveals Mipcom line-up

Nelvana Enterprises has revealed the properties which will form the thrust of its presence at Mipcom in Cannes next month.

Beyblade: Metal Fusion will be returning with 51 new episodes next year. The series is co-produced by Nelvana and Japan's d-rights and there will be a revamped toy line.

Babar and the Adventures of Badou is the latest in the chapter of the classic series. It is a Canada-France co-production frm Nelvana and TeamTO, with confirmed broadcasters TF1 in France and YTV in Canada.

Finally, Detentionaire is a pilot in production by Nelvana in partnership with Teletoon. The plot focuses on a teen falsely accused of pulling off a high school prank and being sentenced to one year in detention. It is aimed at six to 12 year olds.

Nelvana will be on booth N6.04 at Mipcom.
