Rainbow SpA adds publishing partners

Deals inked in Russia and Greece for Winx Club, PopPixie and Maya Fox.
Rainbow SpA has secured several key publishing deals in Russia and Greece for its girl brands Winx Club, PopPixie and Maya Fox.
Rainbow has completed a partworks deal with Fabbri UK for Russia, which is one of Winx Club's most successful markets. Izdalteko Komiks has renewed its licence for the Winx Club magazine in the territory, while Rosman Publishing has picked up the Russian book rights for the firm's latest property, PopPixie.
All four Winx Club series have been sold to CTC, the country's leading broadcaster. Series one to three started broadcasting in 2008, achieving an average rating of 17.3 per cent, with the fourth series due to launch this year.
In addition, Compupress has licensed the Greek magazine rights to teen property Maya Fox - Tag Your Life. The brand began life as a fuill length novel and sells between 70,000 and 80,000 copies of the magazine a month in Italy alone.
