APPAREL MONTH: Classic boosts Tinga Tinga line-up

Apparel ranges from Aykroyds & TDP and Blues to hit UK High Street from s/s 2011.
Following the TV launch of the series on CBeebies earlier this week, Classic Media has secured two apparel deals for Tinga Tinga Tales.
Aykroyds & TDP and Blues Clothing will further add to the momentum of the property following the unveiling of Bandai's toy range at Toy Fair.
The multi-year deal with Aykroyds & TDP will see them producing Tinga Tinga Tales nightwear and underwear ranges for boys and girls aged three to six. The range is currently in development and will roll out across all major High Street stores in the UK from spring/summer 2011.
The deal expands upon a long-standing partnership between Classic Media and Aykroyds & TDP, which already counts key brands, Postman Pat SDS and Guess with Jess amongst its pre-school portfolio.
Classic has also signed a multi-year deal with Blues Clothing, which includes boys and girls apparel, outerwear and leisurewear (to include wovens, knits and denim). The range will hit UK retailers from spring/summer 2011.

Tinga Tinga Tales is also set to make its US premiere on Playhouse Disney. Bandai is on board as master toy licensee and Penguin Group has signed as global publishing partner.
