New chief executive steps up, as firm signs exclusive deal with Is It Art.
Ambitious Gemma International has kicked off another busy week with the news that it has signed an exclusive deal with Is It Art to distribute its greetings product, while David Wesson is taking on the role of chief executive from April.
The new partnership with Is It Art will see Gemma's lines distributed into the independent retail sector in the UK.
"At Gemma, we are passionate about delivering for our customers the best kids products in the market," commented Wesson. "This deal allows us to really focus on what we're good at - creating and designing best selling product ranges which will continue to allow all our customers to maximise their selling opportunities at retail."
Is It Art MD, Martin Nevin, added: "It is a great honour for us to welcome the Gemma International brand to the Is It Art portfolio."
Meanwhile, David Wesson (pictured) will be taking on the role of chief executive from April. This will allow Amanda Parkin to take a more focused strategic role, continuing to work with Wesson to develop future strategy, licences and product.
