Key Manchester-based toy licensee closes its doors.

Martin Yaffe boss Ronnie Yaffe confirmed to sister title ToyNews that the firm went into adminstration yesterday.

Leonard Curtis in Manchester has been appointed as administrator for the firm. Enquiries should be directed to Paul Reeves at paul.reeves@leonardcurtis.co.uk or on 0161 831 9999.

Managing director Ronnie Yaffe was reluctant to say too much about the firm's current status or whether it could yet survive, but told ToyNews it was: "A very sad day."
