Uniqlo secures second Barbie apparel launch

Mattel has unveiled a second high profile apparel launch with Uniqlo for Barbie.

After a successful season last summer, Uniqlo is creating a second collection of more than 20 different tees inspired by the number one girls property in the UK (source: NPD, February 2012).

"We are really excited about the synergy of these strong brands," said Helena Mansell-Stopher, senior licensing manager at Mattel. "Uniqlo is an ideal partner for this apparel range, which is modern, funky and designed to appeal to the adult Barbie fan."

The spring/summer collection is available now, with each tee priced at £14.90. In addition, each t-shirt comes with its own Barbie bobble.
