With new epsiodes launching across the globe throughout this year and next, as well as a new toy line on the way, Nickelodeon offers an overview of Rusty Rivets, the hit animation that has got kids making, doing and viewing the world over.

Firmly based in the Maker Movement, Rusty Rivets is a hit pre-school series produced by Spin Master Entertainment.

The series has been developed to help encourage youngsters to use their imagination – spurring their interest in creating things, inventing things and bringing them to life. 

The series, of course, is underpinned with lots of fun.

At only ten years old, Rusty Rivets invents his way out of every jam by repurposing spare parts and found objects into the wildest, coolest, most awesome contrapti0ons ever. With the help of his best friend Ruby, he can solve any problems through his own creative inventions.

Rusty Rivets contributes to positive pre-school development by promoting the ‘power of learning by doing’ and focusing on self expression in the creations that are made.

Nick Jr.’s newest pre-school boys’ show has been a ratings winner since its UK launch in March of this year. A maximum audience of just under 140,000 tuned in to the premiere episode with the average audience above 100k, far higher than PAW Patrol’s premiere, and a significant 168 per cent up on the slot average.

New episodes of Rusty will continue to launch throughout this year and next.

Of course, consumer products will reflect the key elements of the show with the toy lines utilising the build and create aspects and softlines featuring key icons like gears, cogs and other gadgety-y elements.
