Zalza, the dance/fitness sensation formed by astrologer Russell Grant and his Strictly Come Dancing partner Flavia Cacace, will launch its first DVD on QVC.
DCD Publishing has negotiated an exclusive deal with the TV shopping channel to launch Zalza live on April 12th.
Grant and Cacace were seen by over 13 million viewers on Strictly Come Dancing in 2011 and were voted Strictly’s most popular couple ever, says DCD.
The DVD’s dance fitness concept aims to make workouts fun and accessible to everyone.
Dance transformed Russell’s life, enabling him to lose 11 stone since 2009.
The double DVD shows viewers of all ages and abilities how to exercise different parts of their body, get fit, lose weight and what to eat.
The DVD will also include exclusive behind the scenes footage from Midnight Tango rehearsals, which Flavia and Russell are both starring in London’s West End.
Zalza debuted in the summer of 2012 with a seven-week series on ITV’s This Morning.
DCD Publishing wants to build Zalza into ‘a major lifestyle brand across various areas including consumer products and television’.
Flavia and Russell, currently in rehearsal for Midnight Tango which opens at the Phoenix Theatre in London’s West End, said: "We are thrilled to be able to pass on our Strictly experiences, which enabled Russell to get fit thanks to Flavia’s incredible choreography."
