Subway Surfers claims to be one of the three most played app games in the world.
And licensing agency Ink has appointed Firefly to represent app brand Subway Surfers in the US.
The game has also just hit the landmark figure of 100 million downloads after just eight months.
Subway Surfers is a 3D platform game that puts the player in the role of young graffiti artists as they evade the attentions of a railway security guard and his dog.
Developed by Danish digital companies Sybo Games and Kiloo Games, it has more than six billion play sessions already recorded.
It’s available for iPhone, iPad, iPod and Android.
Ink is putting together a global team of sub-agents to help popularise Subway Surfers.
“We are excited to be working on this unique brand opportunity that has established such an amazing unprecedented fan base in such a short time. Subway Surfers has created characters and content that will work across multiple licensed categories and have strong appeal across a wide demographic," said Cynthia Modders, Firefly’s President.
Ink Director Claus Tømming added: “We need to appoint an international team with the same drive and passion we have for developing the Subway Surfers brand, and signing Firefly Brand Management provides a strong benchmark in terms of what we are looking for in a sub-agent."
