Spreadshirt, the e-commerce platform for creating, selling and buying clothing, enjoyed record breaking sales in 2012.
The reported record breaking sales of over E65 million in 2012, up 42 per cent on the previous year (E45.8m). Sales increased by 30 per cent across the company’s core European market (including the UK).
A significant growth driver was the North American market, which saw a 69 per cent increase in sales, E24.4m.
The UK market, meanwhile, achieved 24 per cent year on year growth in sales.
"Spreadshirt’s growth in the UK shows how our e-commerce platform, with its risk-free approach and top quality offering, is really resonating with both consumers and brands alike," said Spreadshirt CEO, Philip Rooke.
"In 2013, our focus is mainly on the expansion of our product range, the further international expansion, as well as the development of our platform and the integration with new partners – this will give us a further push."
