Trash Pack books and trading cards signed for France

The first merchandise deals for The Trash Pack have been signed for France.

Lisle International, licensing agent for The Trash Pack in the UK and France, has announced that official books and trading cards will be the latest to join the master toy collection France.

Giromax will be producing a collection of trading cards and stickers, available from March, while Splash Publishing will introduce a range of Trash Pack activity books as early as May.

Francesca Lisle said: “It is an excellent start to have Giromax and Splash on board as they will provide a further way for French children to enjoy The Trash Pack.

"Trading cards and books will perfectly complement the toy collection, which is distributed by GP France, as they lend themselves completely to the colourful graphics and huge amount of characters that make up The Trash Pack’s creative and collective portfolio.

“There are a few key categories still open in France such as back to school, apparel and magazines, and if the UK programme is anything to go by, these deals will present great opportunities for those prospective partners.”

The Trash Pack has established itself as a hugely popular collectable toy brand since its release in late 2011.

Summer 2012 saw the roll out of the licensing programme. The French licensing drive began in November with the appointment of Lisle as agents.
