Golden Goose swoops for RSPB

The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds is looking to grow its licensing programme, hiring Golden Goose as its exclusive agency.

The RSPB’s current licensing programme covers products such as books, optical equipment, calendars, greeting cards and gardening products like peat-free compost.

Golden Goose will aim to broaden the current range of products and add new retail channels.

New products already in development include a range of decorative ceramics, gifting, toys and toiletries.

"The RSPB is a household brand and with our clear focus on education and conservation we are looking to licensing as a way for us to reach out to a wider audience," explained Doug Christie, licensing manager at The RSPB.

Antonia Habdank, account director at Golden Goose, added: "Golden Goose is looking forward to working with the RSPB to realise the exciting deals we already have in the pipeline, and develop more retailer and manufacturer partnerships."
