A collection of Mclaren Mercedes and Tooned gadget accessories will zoom to retailers around the world.
KTTK Europe has acquired an exclusive three-year technology and gadget licence for the Vodafone Mclaren Mercedes F1 label and the Tooned cartoon brand.
The products – gadget cases, bags and more – will launch at the Hong Kong Trade Fair this April, to coincide with the Chinese Grand Prix.
Other innovative products to hit shelves in the future include remote control cars that are controlled by an app on a mobile device, at a later date. The goods will be sold in retail outlets around the world and at all Grand Prix events, as well as through the McLaren online store.
Neil Meredith, director of KTTK, said: “The development of this new range for brands as innovative and exciting as Vodafone McLaren Mercedes and Tooned has been generated from genuine consumer demand. Fans want to be part of the brand experience and having your gadgets branded with your favourite team is a natural and easy progression of that.”
Stephanie Freeman, Licensing & Product Manager at McLaren, commented: “The team at KTTK has demonstrated a very clear understanding of the values of our brands and it’s very exciting to start our new partnership in McLaren’s 50th celebratory year, and look forward to the products launching in the coming months.”
KTTK plans to launch a new series of product every quarter in 2013, which includes Grand Prix specific goods.
