WWE has appointed a new head of its international division.
Gerrit Meier (pictured) will be responsible for growing the brand and the business outside of the US, with the primary focus on expanding the company’s international TV distribution agreements.
Meier – who was formerly Spotify’s global general manager for distribution and partnerships – will also manage the continued advancement of WWE’s international licensing, live events, digital and publishing operations.
While at Spotify, Meier helped to forge new partnerships with blue chip brands including Coca-Cola, Yahoo, Deutsche Telekom and Target.
