Entertainment One is taking Peppa Pig to Latin America following a new deal struck with Discovery Kids.
The multi-award winning pre-school series will launch in the territory this year on popular broadcasting channel Discovery Kids.
The animated series will be shown three times a day in half hour blocks on the channel, which is supporting the launch with PR and marketing to build its awareness.
The character will also be included in the promotional activity planned for the relaunch of Discovery Kids, Latin America’s children’s channel with 24 hours dedicated to kids’ TV.
Oliver Dumont at eOne Family, said: "The launch of Peppa Pig in Latin America will complete our ambitious strategy to have full exposure for the brand across the Americas and we look forward to expanding Peppa in to this market."

"We have every confidence that the show’s warm and funny presentation of family life will be a hit with audiences in Latin America."
Peppa Pig is already building awareness in the US where it currently airs on Nick Jr. While in Canada, the show will begin broadcasting on Corus Entertainment’s Treehouse Channel this month.
