MGA Entertainment has joined with Corus Entertainment to launch the new animated series Lalaloopsy in Canada.
The children’s show will premiere on the region’s number one pre-school network, Treehouse from Saturday, May 4th.
The programme, based on the bestselling toy line for girls, debuted in the in the US last month on Nickelodeon.
The series stars the eight original Lalaloopsy characters including Crumbs Sugar Cookie, Mittens Fluff ‘n’ Stuff, Be a Spell-a-Lot, Pillow featherbed, Jewel Sparkles, Peanut Big Top, Spot Splatter Splash and Dot Starlight.
The new deal will see Corus become the latest major media company to join a group of over 200 blue chip partners from across the globe.
MGA will represent the licensing and merchandising of the brand’s consuer products in Canada.
