CBS and Netflix extend licensing agreement

CBS and Netflix are extending their multi-year licensing deal for more CBS shows to be made available to subscribers.

New shows joining the Netflix library includes LA Complex, CSI: NY and 4400 and the agreement also ensures shows like Jericho, Medium, Flashpoint and Twin Peaks remain on the service.

"We are delighted to be bringing these much-loved series to our members in the US," said Ted Sarandos, chief content officer for Netflix.

"Our goal is to give Netflix members a broad mix of engaging shows to watch, and we look forward to adding even more high profile titles from CBS in the near future."
