Following its London premiere, One Direction’s cinematic debut has been tipped to break box office records in the UK, surpassing those set by Skyfall.
This Is Us, premiered in Leicester Square on Tuesday, August 20th, reports The Guardian, where throngs of fans turned out to catch a glimpse of the boy band sensation.
Bookmakers, Ladbrokes is currently offering odds of 4/1 for the boys’ debut film to overtake the James Bond movie, Skyfall which took top spot in Box Office grossing in the UK, with £102 million last year.
Directed by Super size Me film maker, Morgan Spurlock, This Is US is an all access 3D concert film staring the band’s members Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson.
"We made this film for the fans. We just want to say a massive thank you to them," Styles told reporters at the premiere event.
