Stan Lee’s Mighty 7 heads down under

Brand management company PGS Entertainment has secured a deal with ABC TV Australia for the Stan Lee’s Mighty 7 movie trilogy.

Stan Lee’s Mighty 7 is produced by Stan Lee Comics in a joint venture with Genius Brands International, Stan Lee’s POW! Entertainment, and Archie Comics.

The first part of a trilogy stars Stan Lee and features an all-star cast including The Lord of the Rings’ Sean Astin The Big Bang Theory’s Mayim Bialik and The Lone Ranger’s Armie Hammer.

Stan Lee’s Mighty 7 premieres in the US on the Hub Network on February 1st, and the trilogy will air later this year on ABC3, ABC TV Australia’s children’s channel.

“Australia is a great market for this property and ABC3 is the perfect fit,” said Guillaume Soutter, co-founder, PGS Entertainment.

“Of course, Stan Lee has fans around the world, but viewers will be particularly excited to see this new trilogy of movies starring Stan himself.”

The trilogy sees Stan Lee teach a crew of alien prisoners and their jailers how to work together and use their powers to be superheroes.
