License Connection has signed a new deal with The Cookie Company to produce a line of Subway Surfers apparel for the Benelux region.

The fashion company will launch the line in spring 2014.

Subway Surfers follows the adventures of a graffiti artist called Jake as he travels the world avoiding the wrath of a railway security guard and his dog.

The app currently holds the number three position in the global app charts.

Maartje Plomp, licensing manager of The Cookie Company, said: "We are very excited that we signed one of the most popular games of this moment.

"Subway Surfers gives us the opportunity to create trendy and cool products for boys and girls."

Daphne Kellerman, managing director of License Connection, added: "We are very proud to have The Cookie Company on board as our first Benelux Licensee for Subway Surfers.

"This brand fits perfectly with fashion, which is The Cookie Company’s speciality. We hope this clothing line will be a huge success with kids next year, the design looks very promising."

The new range will target kids aged eight and older.
