Fox partners with Chelsea FC for The Simpsons collaboration

Chelsea Football Club is the latest team to partner with Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products on a special collaboration between The Simpsons and the world of football.

Joining FC Barcelona, FC Zenit Saint Petersburg, Sport Club Corinthians, FC Porto, Juventus and Boca Juniors, Chelsea will co-create a range of The Simpsons branded merchandise that will be available later this year.

This merchandise will include special ‘Simpsonised’ versions of members of each team.

The football focus will be backed up by a football themed episode of The Simpsons set to air in March 2014 on FOX.

Additional national and international soccer teams will sign on as part of this licensing partnership in the upcoming months.
