CBeebies appoints Brands with Influence to represent Swashbuckle

CBeebies has appointed Brands with Influence to represent its popular pirating series, Swashbuckle.

The first live action pirate game show for kids premiered last year and topped the ratings for pre-schoolers.

The game show is now scheduled to return to screens across the UK this autumn.

With its partnership with CBeebies, Brands with Influence will work to develop a UK licensing programme.

Martin Lowde, Brands with Influence MD, said: “We are delighted to be working closely with CBeebies on delivering added value for their viewers.

“Extending the interaction with this innovative and highly desired series beyond the screens and into a range of merchandise categories is an exciting opportunity, especially as there is genuine commitment to the brand both in terms of broadcast and supporting elements including a fantastic online experience, games, activities and apps.”

Each episode of Swashbuckle sees Gem and her Swashbucklers take on the pirates, Hook, Line and Captain Sinker through a series of physical and mental challenges.

The show is supported by a series of interactive games and activities on desktop and mobile, with more games and apps in development for later this year.
