Disney Junior is growing its European reach as it debuts across Hungary this month, airing on the territory’s UPC and Digi channels.
The new dedicated channel will offer viewers the best of the Disney Junior programming already popular across the region, as well as introduce new content.
Aimed at pre-schoolers aged between two and seven, Disney Junior has been available across the EMEA since May 2011, but the new deal sees the channel enter the Hungarian market for the first time.
Maciej Bral, VP and general manager of Disney Channels CEE, said: “Disney Junior combines Disney’s unparalleled heritage of classic storytelling, together with loveable characters, engaging music and learning through play to deliver the perfect co-viewing experience for kids and families.
“The dedicated channel will keep the best of the Disney Junior programming already known to the Hungarian viewers, while at the same time introducing new shows that appeal to our existing and loyal audience.”
