Battersea Dogs and Cats Home has made the leap into clothing thanks to new partnerships with Rapanui Clothing Ltd and notonthehighstreet.com.
Creating a range of tee shirts and hoodies for the charity, the Rapanui collection features new designs by the company, with artwork from illustrator Jason Chapman.
Rapanui’s clothing extends the growing range of apparel available under the Home’s brand, which includes a Battersea cycle jersey launched earlier this summer by Summit Different and toddler tee shirts featuring Battersea dogs and cats from Casa Chicos.
Rapanui co-founder, Rob Drake-Knight, commented: “We’re delighted to announce this partnership with Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, we’re passionate about sustainability, conservation and animal welfare so for us collaborating on this collection of clothing with Battersea is really exciting.”
The new clothing range can be found at www.battersea.rapanuistore.com
The Home has also announced a new partnership with notonthehighstreet.com, which will be donating five per cent of sales from a bespoke Battersea product collection to the Home.
Notonthehighstreet.com is sponsoring the official rehoming pack, which is given to all new owners of a Battersea dog or cat and includes a catalogue of the chosen bespoke pet products. The Partnership also features stories of animals rehomed by Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and uses these remarkable dogs and cats to showcase products from the pet collection on the site.
Battersea Dogs and Cats Home’s brand licensing programme is set to grow during 2015 and to help guide the growing number of licensees Battersea has engaged Doodlebug Design to work with them on a new style guide to be launched later in the year.
