Award-wining biscuit and cake company, Biscuiteers has inked a deal with Snowdog Enterprises for a range of The Snowman and The Snowdog treats.
Under the new deal, the firm will develop a range of hand iced biscuits, cupcakes and cakes inspired by the seasonal brand created by Raymond Briggs.
As the sole biscuit licensee, Biscuiteers will recreate the Snowman characters from The Snowman and The Snowdog film in iced biscuit and cake form, arriving in a specially decorated tin and complete with a selection of The Snowman and The Snowdog biscuit cards, as well as themed cup cakes.
Originally published in 1978, The Snowman has become one of the world’s most popular children’s books. It has sold in excess of 8.5 million copies worldwide, with over 3 million sales in the UK.
The sequel animated feature, The Snowman and The Snowdog premiered on Channel 4 on Christmas Eve 2012 and was seen by over 10 million people throughout the festive period.
Biscuiteers founder and managing director, Harriet Hastings, said: “We have had a lot of fun re-creating the iconic snowman characters in icing, and we think our customers will love this unique range of biscuits and cakes.”
