TV merchandise inspired by classic TV shows such as Happy Days, Mork & Mindy and Cheers have found a new online retail destination in CafePress.com.
In a partnership between the online retailer CafePress and CBS Consumer Products, fans will now be able to find a host of CBS’ classic TV official merchandise at CafePress.com under the Television City brand.
The site will host merchandise from more than 42 television programmes including the likes of Beverly Hills, 90210, The Brady Bunch and Frasier. It is planned that each show will have its own shop by the end of 2016.
The first shops to be made available to consumers in November at CafePress.com will include Beverly Hills, 90210, Happy Days and Mighty Mouse.
“These are iconic, classic television programmes that people know and love,” said Aaron Yelton, director of licensing and business developments at CafePress.
“We are thrilled to now be able to bring our customers a collection that demonstrates the importance of these shows in popular culture.”
Product offering will include t-shirts and apparel, mugs, tote bags and unique home goods such as shower curtains and beach towels.
“Fans feel a real connection to the characters in these shows, and we can now bring them to life with fun, creative and unique products,” concluded Yelton.
The Twilight Zone, Everybody Hates Chris, Ghost Whisperer and The Little Rascals will also feature in the line up of TV properties on the new site.
