Universal Studios Hollywood has launched the official website for West Coast’s hotly anticipated The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
The new site will take visitors through Hogsmeade village, allowing them to take a virtual tour of the land before the real experience opens in Universal Studios Hollywood in spring 2016.
Inspired by J.K. Rowling’s stories and characters and the warner Bros. film franchise, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is designed to deliver the authentic tone of the film.
The website itself invites guests to virtually sample the shops, establishments and attractions of the new land through a parchment map.
Visitors can check out retail stores such as Honeydukes, Olivanders, Owl Post, Zonko’s Joke Shop, Wiseacre’s Wizarding Equipment, Dervish and Banges, Gladrags wizardwear and Filch’s Emporium of Confiscated Goods, as well as the Three Broomsticks and Hog’s Head Pub.
Currently, in-park guests at Universal Studios Hollywood can experience and purchase authentic merchandise, including wands, robes and other collectables.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will open in spring 2016.
