Skepta teams with Nike to launch his own Air Max trainers

MOBO-award winning grime artist Skepta has teamed with Nike to create his own Air Max trainer.

Skepta revealed the news through his Instagram account, stating: ‘Nine weeks ago I went to the Nike HQ in Portland, Oregon and sat with senior designer to talk about Air Max.

‘Today I’m happy to present the Blacklisted Air Max BW, thank you @NJobe for seeing the vision and making my dream come to life.’

Skepta’s Blacklisted Air Max BW, a name referencing his 2012 mixtape Blacklisted, boasts a chunkier air unit compared to other Air Max models and is expected to hit shelves later this year.
