Nicola Thompson, former senior commercial manager at CPLG Sport, has joined Vickie O’Malley’s Rockpool Licensing.
Thompson’s licensing career began in 2006 as head of partnerships at West Ham Utd.
She moved to CPLG in 2008, managing a portfolio of clients over the years including The FA, RFU, St Andrew’s Links, Fulham FC and West Ham Utd.
“Nic’s track record in managing multi-million pound brand licensing and sponsorship programmes makes her a tremendous asset," said Vickie O’Malley, MD at Rockpool Licensing.
"It’s phenomenally helpful to have someone with her experience and network contributing to Rockpool’s growth and, on a personal level, it’s a thrill to be able to team up with a friend and trusted colleague."
Thompson added: "I jumped at the opportunity to work with Vickie again and am delighted to be involved with Rockpool’s fantastic portfolio of brands. It’s extremely exciting to be given the chance to help grow these licensing programmes and bring new partners to the business."
Rockpool Licensing was established in 2014 by Vickie O’Malley, former MD of CPLG UK. Clients include Tough Mudder, Gogglebox, Tractor Ted and Brambly Hedge. Rockpool also provides consultancy services to rights owners and other agencies.
