Fruit Ninja app game to get big screen treatment

Halfbrick Studios has decided to develop a movie based on its hit app game, Fruit Ninja.

The Hollywood Reporter claims Tripp Vinson will produce the movie under his Vinson Films production banner.

The film will be a live-action family comedy based on the app game, which is the second-highest-selling iOS game of all time, with over 1 billion downloads.
