Nickelodeon president Russell Hicks steps down after 18 years

Russell Hicks has stepped down from his role as president, content development and production for the Nickelodeon Group.

Effective immediately, the resignation arrives as the 18-year veteran at Nickelodeon returns from a four-month leave with the firm.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the announcement will be made formally with an internal email later today.

Various sources suggest that there are no current plans to replace Hicks in his role as president, content development and production.
