Edge Brands inks deal with Nintendo for Splatoon-inspired blasters

Edge Brands has revealed it is teaming up with Nintendo to develop a new range of water blasters based on the video game Splatoon.

The company’s line will feature four blasters that will boast special features for fans and collectors, whilst bringing the Splatoon game to life.

"We’re thrilled to bring the blasters from Splatoon to life with these new innovative products," said Brian Quaglia Sr, co-owner and director of creative services at Edge Brands.

"We believe these products bring a whole new level of interaction to the Splatoon fans.”

Splatoon is a third-person shooter game based around characters known as inklings, who can transform back and forth between humanoid and squid form.
