Paw Patrol Live ‘Race to the Rescue’ heads Down Under in 2017

A live show inspired by the hit children’s series Paw Patrol is heading Down Under in 2017 with the first Australian tour dates detailed by Nick Jr.

Billed as a music-filled adventure starring more than a dozen of the popular Paw Patrol characters, Paw Patrol Live Race to the Rescue will make its debut in the territory on April 1st, 2017.

The show is the result of a partnership between Nick Jr, Life Like Touring and VStar Entertainment Group and will be set around the day of the Great Race between Adventure Bay’s Mayor Goodway and Foggy Bottom’s Mayor Humdinger.

The show will treat audiences to a live interpretation of popular locations within the TV series, including Adventure Bay, The Lookout, Seal Island and more.

Tickets will be available to purchase online from Monday, September 12th.

“We are thrilled to partner with VStar Entertainment Group and Life Like touring to bring Paw Patrol Live to families across Australia,” said Thomas Kingsley, senior manager, recreation business development, Nickelodeon.

“This unique stage production promises adventure at every turn, as the audience works together to help our heroic pups save the day.”

The live show is the latest move in Nickelodeon’s plans to extend the Paw Patrol brand beyond consumer products.

“We are very excited to be expanding our Paw Patrol offering to include live events, which will truly bring the show to life for our many pre-school fans,” added Jihee Nam, general manager, Nickelodeon Networks, Australia and New Zealand.

“As a leading pre-school property in Australia across programming, consumer products and character appearances, 2017 is truly going to be a huge year for the pups.”
