Universal Studios teases planned Nintendo attractions in new video

Universal Studios has released a new video teasing the planned Nintendo themed areas at theme parks across the US and Japan.

The new feature stars the famed Nintendo designer Shigeru Miyamoto who joins Mark Woodbury, president of Universal Creative to tantalise fans with snippets of information about the new zones based on the videogame giant’s hit titles.

The new areas are destined for Universal Studios Japan, Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood and promise to bring ‘levels from Super Mario Bros. and other Nintendo properties’ to life.

“Since we are bringing the world to life, I think Mario will finally feel like he came home,” states Miyamoto in the video.

According to Woodbury, the attraction will allow visitors to experience the sensation of walking into a Nintendo game.

Both Nintendo and Universal are yet to confirm an opening date for the new attractions.
