Hit collectables brand Shopkins has recorded it best week of sales to date during the month of October.
Retail success for the range of figures has been boosted by the release of Shopkins Series Six – Chef Club – which has pushed year-to-date sales over five million units.
In 2016, retail sales for the Shopkins brand are now expected to reach £120 million, double the figure for 2015.
The recent success has propelled Shopkins to become the biggest girls’ brand in the UK toy sector while the brand boasts a presence across apparel, stationery, trading cards, publishing, health and beauty and more.
“Shopkins is doing phenomenally well across all areas and just keeps on growing,” said Bulldog Licensing Manager, Vicky Hill.
“This has been the first year for all our licensee partners to have product on the market and we are delighted with the results.”
