Hit video game Rocket League speeds into toys with new line from Zag

Independent video game developer and publisher Psyonix has partnered with Zag to launch a line of toys based on Rocket League, it has been announced.

The line of 12 mini pull-back racers will launch this Spring each packaged with their own rocket ball. Some racers will include a code that can be redeemed for additional content in the game. Psyonix have confirmed further additions to the line will be announced at a later date.

The launch line-up will include Octane, Dominus, Masamune, Hotshot, Grog, X-Devil, Merc, and Backfire, along with four limited variants. The line will be packaged in blind-bags.

Rocket League is an independent sports video game that originally launched for free for one month as part of the Playstation 4 PS Plus service and since has gone on to sell over 5 million units, reaching over 15 million players world-wide.
