RP2 Global named master toy partner for Bottersnikes and Gumbles

Lisle Licensing has named RP2 Global as the master toy partner for Bottersnikes and Gumbles in the UK, Ireland and Australia.

Under the new partnership, the firm will develop a range of toys capturing the humour and playfulness of the Bottersnikes and Gumbles world.

Plastic and vinyl figures will lead the line up, followed by plush and role play toys that will launch across the UK in spring/summer next year.

Francesca Lisle, director at Lisle Licensing, said: “We are delighted to have partnered with RP2 Global.

“They are an innovative group of people and we are looking forward to working with them to develop a fun toy line for this fantastic brand.

“Bottersnikes and Gumbles lends itself perfectly to the target audience of boys aged four to nine and we can’t wait to see the toy line develop over the coming months.”

Simon Cox, managing director at RP2 Global, added: “After the success we achieved with bringing Oddbods to every market in EMEA in 2017, we have been looking for a second piece of TV IP to further grow our business.

“We are very excited about Bottersnikes and Gumbles which has rated consistently well over a period of time on CBBC. The line that we will produce will be in the heartland of boys aged four to nine, which is very much backed up by the TV audience.

“Given the content we will live in the digital space as well as on a traditional broadcast channel, enabling the property to cover all kids.”
