MD taps Granarolo as new Angry Birds licensee

MD Licensing has signed a new licensing agreement with Granarolo, on behalf of the Angry Birds owner Rovio. The deal will see the firm bring special editions of its natural Tomino yoghurt lines to retail across Italy, featuring imagery and characters from the popular movie/video game franchise.

Yomino Angry Birds products will be available from Q1 2017, in Italian supermarkets, hypermarkets and traditional channels.

Rovio, in collaboration with Granarolo, will also be offering great Angry Birds prizes in exchange for points. Customers just have to buy an Angry Birds Yomino product and check the packaging, which will offer points that can be collected and redeemed. When they have enough points they can claim one of a number of prizes including a play tent, a trolley and a complete set of luggage in different colours.
