The Smiley Company is embarking on a new partnership with leading lifestyle store, Colette, to mark its 20th anniversary.
The co-creation will form part of Colette’s campaign of 20 products for 20 years, which sees the store launch 20 items in its signature blue colour.
“We are very proud to be part of Colette’s 20th anniversary celebration with two exclusive products, shoes from Joshua Sanders and phone cases from Casetify,” said Nicolas Loufrani, CEO of Smiley.
“Colette has invented the concept store format and has influenced the creation of concept stores all over the world, but none of them has ever been able to match the original eclecticism is what makes Colette unique.”
Smiley has joined forces with long-term partner Joshua Sanders to design a limited edition pair of trainers and sliders.
Meanwhile, phone accessories supplier Casetify will launch a silver glitter phone case, boasting the Colette anniversary Smiley icons.
Loufrani added: “The selection of products operated by her daughter Sarah is not pretentious and is open to all trends, from art to cartoons, absolute luxury to mass confectionery. In that sense it epitomises true Parisian chic at its best, relaxed and open to all influences. This is where Smiley belongs.”
