Stylist Marni Senofonte designs collection for Barbie

Mattel’s iconic doll Barbie has joined forces with stylist and creative director Marni Senofonte, to develop new looks for the Barbie Fashionistas dolls.

The outfits, which have not been made for promotional purposes, boast a denim cape, over-the-knee boots, sequin jeans, a denim mini skit and a denim jacket boasting Barbie’s signature ‘B’ logo.

First revealed on the Barbie Style Instagram account, Senofonte said: “It’s been an extraordinary experience seeing my vision come to life through Barbies of different sizes and colours, all looking fly.”

Senofonte also revealed that Victorian Punk influenced the overall collection for Barbie.

The stylist was previously the brains behind singer Beyoncé’s visual album, Lemonade.
