Rovio launches Battle Bay

The game developer responsible for the mega-hit Angry Birds is moving into the MOBA (massive online battle arena) space with a new game entitled Battle Bay.

The game sees Rovio swap birds for boats with teams of five facing off in seafaring warfare as well crafting their own boats. Players can also organise their attacks with an in-game communication system.

The game is free to play now on iOS and Android but features in-app purchases ranging in price from $4.99 to $99.99.
