J!NX partners with Hot Topic for first video game lifestyle brand

Video games merchandise and clothing firm J!NX has announced the first ever retail video games lifestyle brand in partnership with Hot Topic.

With over two decades of experience in the games industry, J!NX is bringing its Jinx Brand products to online and brick-and-mortar retailers from August 17th. The line features products including jackets, t-shirts and more designed by a team of gamers and apparel industry veterans.

“I’m a lifelong gamer, both a player and a hobbyist game developer. Growing up, I never felt a connection to any existing brands, nothing spoke to me. J!NX was born in that void,” said Sean Gailey, J!NX co-founder and CEO. “To me, J!NX represents the deep passion of the culture and community that I’m proud to be a part of. We chose Hot Topic because they’ve been the first to believe in that community and have been a longtime partner with our licensed products.”

“Gamers deserve more than just T-shirts to express their love of the lifestyle, and no one understands that more than the team over at J!NX,” added Ed Labay, VP, GMM at Hot Topic. “That’s why we are so excited to partner with them and launch this idea at Hot Topic.”

Gamers can get an exclusive first look at the new items during Comic-Con International: San Diego at the Horton Plaza Hot Topic store on Thursday, July 20th.
