AGE secures TV deals and global agents for Care Bears and Madballs

American Greetings Entertainment has secured a raft of new television broadcasters and international agents for the hits kids’ brands Care Bears and Madballs.

Following a milestone 35th anniversary for the popular brand, new partners for Care Bears include Bulldog Licensing for the UK and Eire, Sagoo for France, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg, Mediogen in Israel and Team Licensing in Germany.

These new agencies join IMG Asia who came on board late last year and have ignited the Care Bears brand with compelling kids abnd lifestyle programmes in Japan, South Korean, Southeast Asia and mainland China.

In addition to new agency agreements, the Care Bears has announced several new broadcast deals with the likes of Netflix, KiKA Germany and Jetsen Huashi Wangju China.

Furthermore, AGE continues to expand its re-launch of classic 80s toy and content programme for Madballs into international territories with partners including Sagoo for France, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg, Rocket Licensing for the UK and Eire, Starbright Licensing for Italy and Wild Pumpkin for Australia.

Finally in the UK, AGE’s new original series of 15 animated Madballs shorts will begin airing on POP TV later this month.
