BBC Worldwide grows Hey Duggee portfolio with Dreamtex

BBC Worldwide and Dreamtex have partnered for a new range of Hey Duggee bedding.

The deal will see Dreamtex develop a range of Hey Duggee home textiles, which will include bedding, towels and cushions, with product expected to land at retail in spring 2018.

Andy Downie, commercial director at Dreamtex, said: “Hey Duggee has fast become a firm favourite with both children and parents and we are thrilled to be partnering with the BBC to deliver fun and exciting bedding ranges for launch in spring 2018.”

Anna McArdle, the licensing executive at BBC Worldwide who broekered the deal, added: “BBC Worldwide is delighted to be partnering with Dreamtex. Excitement and demand for Hey Duggee products is really building and we are thrilled to be able to add Dreamtex to our Hey Duggee portfolio.”

Dreamtex is the latest addition to a range of softline partners for Hey Duggee. Recent deals for the brand include VMC for accessories, such as hats, gloves, scarves and dress-up, Trade mark Collections for backpacks and umbrellas, Roy Lowe & Sons for socks and William Lamb for footwear.

These new partners join BBC Worldwide’s licensing portfolio for Hey Duggee which in the UK includes Aykroyd and TDP for nightwear, underwear and swimwear, Blues Clothing for daywear and Blue Sky Designs for art, stationery and activity products.
