Wilton Bradley and FremantleMedia partner on The X Factor karaoke range

Wilton Bradley has signed a deal with FremantleMedia to manufacture and supply a range of karaoke microphones, machines, headphones and speakers under the X Factor license.

The range will be rolled out across the UK in a deal that will span the next three years.

Wilton Bradley will be showcasing the 2018 range of the X Factor Karaoke microphones and machines at the Hong Kong, London and Nuremberg Toy Fairs. Exact details of the products are being kept under wraps and will be unveiled at the upcoming trade shows.

Simon Hampton, head of sales and marketing at Wilton Bradley, said: “Mi-Mic is about to sell out and has performed well beyond our expectations. In fact, the whole karaoke microphone category has really taken off this year.

“So, the timing for this deal with the X Factor is perfect and I can’t imagine a better partnership in this category.”

Caroline High, senior licensing manager hardlines, FremantleMedia, added: “Mi-Mic is the perfect product for The X Factor, it’s innovative, musical and very entertaining. Now families will be able to sing along with the show in the comfort of their own living room.”
